If you've recently had an injury (like a sports injury, a fall, or a car accident), and you think you've had a concussion as well, this video will help you recognize the most common signs and symptoms of a concussion.
In the clinic, we use the "Clinical Profiles Screen for Concussion" to check for various symptoms (and also to check the patient's progress throughout treatment).
The 5 main categories for concussion symptoms are as follows:
Anxiety/mood
Cognitive/fatigue
Migraine (headaches)
Ocular
Vestibular
There are also subcategories that we measure as well:
Sleep
Neck
In this video, I'll explain in more detail what the concussion symptoms in each category look and feel like.
