Today we are in No Mans Land with ‪@kedexworld‬ and we are harvesting corn silage. We started with inspecting cornfields to see if they were ready for the harvest. After we deiced we gonna harvest them into the silage we started getting ready. First, we detached the front weight from Fendt 926 and then we attached the leveler and silage roller to it. When that was done we took the Unimog and ARO to the local dealer to pick up the forage harvester and silage additive. We leased Class Jaguar 830 and bought two silage additive canisters from the local dealer. We loaded the canister onto the Unimog and we headed back to the farm. After we got back we filled the forage harvester with silage additive and diesel and then we got the MB Trac ready for carting. We attached the chains on the front and the Orkel trailer to the back. Then we mounted silage sides to the trailer and we were ready for harvest. Kedex is gonna run the harvester first and I will cart the chaff with the tractor and trailer. We headed to the first field and started harvesting headlands. We did three headland passes and then we did ups and downs. We ended up getting five loads from the first field and we put them into the bunker where we already had some silage. After the first field was done I jumped into Fendt 926 and compacted the silage in the bunker. When that was done we switched and I harvested the last field and Kedex carted the chaff. We ended up harvesting four loads from the last field and we finished this year's silage harvest. Then I parked the forage harvester and jumped into Unimog. I attached the weight from the MB Trac on the back of the Unimog and headed to help Kedex compact the silage. After we got the silage compacted I returned back to the farm and washed the forage harvester. Then put the silage additive canisters inside the house and then washed the MB Trac and Orkel trailer. After that was done I washed the Unimog and parked it and then helped Kedex park the MB Trac. The last vehicle to wash was Fendt 926, leveler and silage roller, when that was done we detached the leveler and silage roller and then we remove dual tires from the Fent 926 and parked it. Then we returned the forage harvester back to the dealer and we returned back to the farm. We stopped at the silage bunker and we covered it with the tarp. After that was done we parked the vehicles at the farm and headed inside the house to take a break.
