Ślōnskŏ gŏdka has many names: ślůnsko godka, slezština, gwara śląska, język śląski, etnolekt śląski, Schlonsakisch. It’s considered to be the Silesian dialect of the Polish language, is so distinct from Polish that some advocate for its recognition as a separate language. In this video, we’re going to see to what extent it’s comprehensible to the speakers of Czech, Kashubian and Polish. Let us know what you think.
