Super simple DIY electronic mouse trap
very effective with PIR sensor and a solenoid

ERRORMISSING PART
Please add a diode with anode on sensor out+ and cathode on sensor Bat+
So in case the battery is removed when the sensor is triggered, the voltage spike of the inductor may destroy the sensor load switch
