Why do we need to bake textures? If we want to export models to another 3D program or game engine (Like Unity or Unreal) we will need to bake. Also, if we want to share or sell our models on a site like Sketchfab or Blender Market, we will need baked textures. Baking also allows us to simplify a Blender file and use fewer PBR images. Whatever the reason for baking, SimpleBake is the addon you want to do it with.
