Sims 1 vs Sims 3 vs Sims 4 Snowboarding

Sims 1
In The Sims 1, Snowboarding was added in The Sims: Vacation, where Halfpipes first appeared. Your Sim will snowboard on the half pipe and do few tricks. But how well they snowboard generally depends on their body skill. When they're finished snowboarding, they'll unclip their snowboard and leave. In Sims 1, the half pipe can be used by to two Sims simultaneously. Kids too. And there is one more way Sims stop snowboarding. By falling on their face.

Sims 3
In The Sims 3, At the Winter festival, Sims can use the halfpipe to snowboard. But you can also buy one. Snowboarding is now a new hidden skill. When Sims get on top of the half pipe, they'll automatically use a snowboard. With practicing Sims will get better at performing tricks. Snowboarding has three levels. As Sims get better at snowboarding, they will fall off the snowboard less often. Snowboarding earns festival tickets. Unlike The Sims 1, Only one Sim can snowboard at a time. You can buy your own halfpipe using holiday tickets at the festival's concession stand.

Sims 4
in The Sims 4, Snowboarding was added with Sims 4: Snowy Escape. But its completely different from previous Sims games. There are no halfpipes, because Now Sims can use the slopes. On Mt. Komorebi in Yukimatsu, There is the Bunny Slope that can be used by everyone, even kids and toddlers. Sims will got to the top on foot. If you don't have a snowboard, your Sim will rent one automatically but they'll be more prone to injury. Or you can buy from a vending machine. Expect a lot of this with low snowboarding skill.
Sims can also use the sled at the bunny slope, alone, with a child or toddler or with Karen. Sims can also ski on the bunny slope.

There are also four slopes at the top of the mountain where Sims can ski or snowboard. Easy and intermediate, expert and ludicrous slope. Sims can ride the ski lift to the top of the mountain slopes.

On every slope you can record a video of you skiing or snowboarding, go down one time, or continuously with low, medium or high intensity. The easiest slope is always the busiest, because it requires the least amount of skill. Sims will get in line, waiting for their turn.
The more skilled Sims become the more challenging the trails become and more interactions, benefits and tricks are unlocked.
