Single Kettlebell CARDIO COMPLEX For Judo Fighters
In this video, David takes you through a Single Kettlebell Cardio Complex that works the whole body and will get the lungs screaming!!
The choice of exercises help to develop a smooth complex, that brings together elements of explosive strength, muscular and cardiovascular endurance as well as stabilising the core, making this workout perfect for Judo Fighters, anyone involved in a dynamic, grappling sport, or just someone wanting to train and look like a fighter.
This is great as a stand alone workout or at the end of a session and can be lengthened or shortened to suit.
The Workout
Complete as a pyramid starting at 5 reps working down to 1...for example:
1st Set =
A1) Single Arm KB Clean x 5
A2) Single Arm KB Thruster x 5
B1) KB Swing x 5
B2) KB Lateral Swing x5 /each side
C1) Single Arm KB Clean x 5
C2) Single Arm KB Thruster x 5
D1) KB Swing x 5
D2) KB Lateral Swing x5 /each side
2nd Set =
A1) Single Arm KB Clean x 4
A2) Single Arm KB Thruster x 4
B1) KB Swing x 5
B2) KB Lateral Swing x5 /each side
C1) Single Arm KB Clean x 4
C2) Single Arm KB Thruster x 4
D1) KB Swing x 5
D2) KB Lateral Swing x5 /each side
{Keep reducing the Clean and Thruster pairing by by 1 rep each set, without rest, until the last set of 1 rep continue to do 5 reps of the KB Swing and KB Lateral Swing each time.}
