The Single Leg Hip Thrust is a hinge pattern exercise that is a variant of the hip thrust.

PRIMARY MUSCLES WORKED: Glutes, Hamstrings

EXERCISE TECHNIQUE CUES: Back on bench, one foot planted on the ground. Drive through the heel, thrust hips upward, and squeeze glute at the top. Keep the nonworking leg elevated and core engaged. Don't let your hips sag.
