Today, I cancelled all of my instruction flights with private pilot students because of the weather. There are a lot of clouds hanging around which makes it difficult to work around while practicing manoeuvres. But it's a perfect day to do some single pilot IFR work! This is the kind of day I've been waiting for to brush up on my IFR/IMC skills so I am taking the chance while I can. I show you how I navigate the clouds on my IFR flight plan and walk you through my process of flying an ILS approach.
