Samantha Lurie, is the Executive Director and cofounder of the Show Me The World Project, a nonprofit dedicated to providing life changing educational opportunities to students from underresourced communities at home and abroad.
Under her leadership, the Show Me The World Project has grown to support over 150 students and 24 educators across 8 schools. Samantha has led the evolution of, The Show Me The World Project into a comprehensive program that integrates science, leadership, cultural immersion, and entrepreneurship.

Previously, she worked as a Special Education teacher at Vashon High School and the Dean of Students. In 2015 she was named St. Louis Public Schools Special Education Teacher of the Year. She is also a Teach For America (TFA) St. Louis alum and previously served as the Managing Director of Alumni Network Leadership for TFA Metro Atlanta. Samantha champions the philosophy that every student deserves a global classroom, transforming not just educational outcomes but lives.
