There are few things that I dislike as much as open leather ringsheaths, with the blades dangling out. It's bad for the blade, bad for the wearer and downright ugly.
Therefor, I decided to alter the design of the original sheath somewhat. I gave it a wooden core and a proper steel chape at the end. Other than that, the design is pretty much the same. The rough brown leather, the laced stitches and so on..
It's a rough core and a rough finish, but I think it fits with the overall style of the dagger
I felt like the project wasn't complete until the dagger hand a proper sheath. Now I can store it without fear of it being damaged or for it to damage anything around it.
