Presenting Shri Lakshmi Narayana Ashtakam which is a very powerful shloka composed by Sri Adi Sankarar. It addresses Lord Lakshmi Narayana or Shri Maha Vishnu who is the god of wealth generation and the god who preserves the whole world from deadly things. This would be surely helpful to those who are affected during the COVID19 Pandemic for their speedy recovery.

श्रीलक्ष्मीनारायणाष्टकम्
आर्तानां दुःखशमने दीक्षितं प्रभुमव्ययम् ।
अशेषजगदाधारं लक्ष्मीनारायणं भजे ॥ १॥

अपारकरुणाम्भोधिं आपद्बान्धवमच्युतम् ।
अशेषदुःखशान्त्यर्थं लक्ष्मीनारायणं भजे ॥ २॥

भक्तानां वत्सलं भक्तिगम्यं सर्वगुणाकरम् ।
अशेषदुःखशान्त्यर्थं लक्ष्मीनारायणं भजे ॥ ३॥

सुहृदं सर्वभूतानां सर्वलक्षणसंयुतम् ।
अशेषदुःखशान्त्यर्थं लक्ष्मीनारायणं भजे ॥ ४॥

चिदचित्सर्वजन्तूनां आधारं वरदं परम् ।
अशेषदुःखशान्त्यर्थं लक्ष्मीनारायणं भजे ॥ ५॥

शङ्खचक्रधरं देवं लोकनाथं दयानिधिम् ।
अशेषदुःखशान्त्यर्थं लक्ष्मीनारायणं भजे ॥ ६॥

पीताम्बरधरं विष्णुं विलसत्सूत्रशोभितम् ।
अशेषदुःखशान्त्यर्थं लक्ष्मीनारायणं भजे ॥ ७॥

हस्तेन दक्षिणेन यजं अभयप्रदमक्षरम् ।
अशेषदुःखशान्त्यर्थं लक्ष्मीनारायणं भजे ॥ ८॥

यः पठेत् प्रातरुत्थाय लक्ष्मीनारायणाष्टकम् ।
विमुक्तस्सर्वपापेभ्यः विष्णुलोकं स गच्छति ॥

इति श्रीलक्ष्मीनारायणाष्टकम् सम्पूर्णम् ।

ārtānāṃ duḥkhaśamane dīkṣitaṃ prabhumavyayam ।
aśeṣajagadādhāraṃ lakṣmīnārāyaṇaṃ bhaje ॥ 1॥

apārakaruṇāmbhodhiṃ āpadbāndhavamacyutam ।
aśeṣaduḥkhaśāntyarthaṃ lakṣmīnārāyaṇaṃ bhaje ॥ 2॥

bhaktānāṃ vatsalaṃ bhaktigamyaṃ sarvaguṇākaram ।
aśeṣaduḥkhaśāntyarthaṃ lakṣmīnārāyaṇaṃ bhaje ॥ 3॥

suhṛdaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ sarvalakṣaṇasaṃyutam ।
aśeṣaduḥkhaśāntyarthaṃ lakṣmīnārāyaṇaṃ bhaje ॥ 4॥

cidacitsarvajantūnāṃ ādhāraṃ varadaṃ param ।
aśeṣaduḥkhaśāntyarthaṃ lakṣmīnārāyaṇaṃ bhaje ॥ 5॥

śaṅkhacakradharaṃ devaṃ lokanāthaṃ dayānidhim ।
aśeṣaduḥkhaśāntyarthaṃ lakṣmīnārāyaṇaṃ bhaje ॥ 6॥

pītāmbaradharaṃ viṣṇuṃ vilasatsūtraśobhitam।
aśeṣaduḥkhaśāntyarthaṃ lakṣmīnārāyaṇaṃ bhaje ॥ 7॥

hastena dakṣiṇena yajaṃ abhayapradamakṣaram। aśeṣaduḥkhaśāntyarthaṃ lakṣmīnārāyaṇaṃ bhaje ॥ 8॥

yaḥ paṭhet prātarutthāya lakṣmīnārāyaṇāṣṭakam ।
vimuktassarvapāpebhyaḥ viṣṇulokaṃ sa gacchati ॥

iti śrīlakṣmīnārāyaṇāṣṭakam sampūrṇam ।


ஶ்ரீலக்ஷ்மீநாராயணாஷ்டகம்

ஆர்தாநாம் து:³க²ஶமநே தீ³க்ஷிதம் ப்ரபு⁴மவ்யயம் ।
அஶேஷஜக³தா³தா⁴ரம் லக்ஷ்மீநாராயணம் ப⁴ஜே ॥ 1॥

அபாரகருணாம்போ⁴தி⁴ம் ஆபத்³பா³ந்த⁴வமச்யுதம் ।
அஶேஷது:³க²ஶாந்த்யர்த²ம் லக்ஷ்மீநாராயணம் ப⁴ஜே ॥ 2॥

ப⁴க்தாநாம் வத்ஸலம் ப⁴க்திக³ம்யம் ஸர்வகு³ணாகரம் ।
அஶேஷது:³க²ஶாந்த்யர்த²ம் லக்ஷ்மீநாராயணம் ப⁴ஜே ॥ 3॥

ஸுஹ்ருʼத³ம் ஸர்வபூ⁴தாநாம் ஸர்வலக்ஷணஸம்யுதம் ।
அஶேஷது:³க²ஶாந்த்யர்த²ம் லக்ஷ்மீநாராயணம் ப⁴ஜே ॥ 4॥

சித³சித்ஸர்வஜந்தூநாம் ஆதா⁴ரம் வரத³ம் பரம் ।
அஶேஷது:³க²ஶாந்த்யர்த²ம் லக்ஷ்மீநாராயணம் ப⁴ஜே ॥ 5॥

ஶங்க²சக்ரத⁴ரம் தே³வம் லோகநாத²ம் த³யாநிதி⁴ம் ।
அஶேஷது:³க²ஶாந்த்யர்த²ம் லக்ஷ்மீநாராயணம் ப⁴ஜே ॥ 6॥

பீதாம்ப³ரத⁴ரம் விஷ்ணும் விலஸத்ஸூத்ரஶோபி⁴தம் ।
அஶேஷது:³க²ஶாந்த்யர்த²ம் லக்ஷ்மீநாராயணம் ப⁴ஜே ॥ 7॥

ஹஸ்தேந த³க்ஷிணேந யஜம் அப⁴யப்ரத³மக்ஷரம் ।
அஶேஷது:³க²ஶாந்த்யர்த²ம் லக்ஷ்மீநாராயணம் ப⁴ஜே ॥ 8॥

ய: படே²த் ப்ராதருத்தா²ய லக்ஷ்மீநாராயணாஷ்டகம் ।
விமுக்தஸ்ஸர்வபாபேப்⁴ய: விஷ்ணுலோகம் ஸ க³ச்ச²தி ॥

இதி ஶ்ரீலக்ஷ்மீநாராயணாஷ்டகம் ஸம்பூர்ணம் ।

Meaning:
I shall meditate upon Lord Lakshminarayana who is the source of Universe and its living beings, he eradicates miseries and sorrows of distressed people, he is Prabhu who is imperishable, he is ocean of mercy, he is Achyutha who is safest heaven to people who are surrendered at his lotus feet, he is too compassionate to his worshiper, he is the essence of devotion, he symbolizes virtues, he is most reliable companion of all the living beings, he is flawless, he dwells in the intellect of the living beings, he is the source of Universe and its living beings, he is beyond human intellect, he is the provider of abundance of boons to worshiper, he is divine personified decked in Shankha and Chakram, he is the commander of the world, he is too compassionate, he is attired in majestic yellow garment, he is Vishnu who is decked in various precious ornaments all over his body, his both the hands are in Abhya and Varadha hastha posture, I shall meditate upon Lord Lakshminaraya who eradicates miseries and sorrows of the worshiper.

The Fruit of chanting:
Whoever reads or listens to the glorious verses of Lakshminarayana Ashtakam during the early hours of dawn would be relieved from all kinds of sins, illness, diseases and attain all the desired wealth and also attain the abode of Lord Vishnu, he eradicates miseries and perils of the worshiper, he is the provider of abundance of wealth to worshiper.
