There's no question the media industry in this country has seen its share of challenges recently. From cuts and closures to news blackouts on Facebook and Instagram. But there's a unique challenge for the small, weekly newspapers that dot our province. Many of the communities they serve are becoming smaller and smaller. Making it harder and harder to stay alive.
But some of these papers are turning a page and they're not just surviving but thriving.
