Life can be hectic, especially amidst the increasingly accelerating cultural zeitgeist of the 21st century world war, economical and technological upheavals, language and culture itself evolving at a seemingly alien pace to those who still have any faint recollection of the late 20th century world;

Some might feel the urge to succumb to this overpowering madness, to let themselves go with the ravenous flow of time and history itself, and to be swallowed up whole by this morbid yet strangely comforting wave. Let us not judge those who do, we are no better nor worse than them for it.

Sometimes however we can take conscient sovereign command over our experience of the passage of time this very core tenet, very notion of free will itself.

Let us slow down and smell the roses, as trite as may it sound, let us experience whole heartedly that which we have for so long taken for granted.

Maybe the smells, maybe the colours, will remind us of something we have long since forgotten, but nevertheless always have known to be true.
