Recipe for: Hornets With Cheese. They melt in your mouth!

Required products:

For the dough:
500 g of sifted flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of sugar
50 ml. oil
7 grams of dry yeast
1 egg
150 g lard at room temperature
100 ml. cool water

For the filling:
150 g of crushed cow's cheese
1 egg white

To spread:
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon of fresh milk

Method of preparation:

Preparation of the dough:
Pour the water into a bowl and add the sugar and yeast. Stir until the sugar dissolves and leave for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.
In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Make a well in the middle and add the activated yeast, oil, egg and lard.
Knead until you get a smooth, soft and nonsticky dough. Shape the dough into a ball and place in a greased bowl. Brush the dough with a little oil, cover with a lid and leave to rise for 30 minutes.

Preparation of the filling:
Beat the egg white until foamy and mix it with the crumbled cheese.

Shaping the horns:
After the dough has risen, knead it lightly and divide it into 4 equal parts. Shape each portion into a ball.
Roll each ball into a rectangle with a thickness of about 0.5 cm. At one end lengthwise, put some of the filling and roll it into a tight roll. Press the ends to close.
Divide each roll into 4 equal parts and arrange the croissants on a tray lined with baking paper. Cover with a towel and leave to rise for another 45 minutes.

Baking:
Beat the yolk with the fresh milk and brush the croissants.
Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees (no fan), in the lower part of the oven, for about 1520 minutes.
