so about 7 or 8 years ago I refurbished a SnapOn toolbox that I bought at a pawn shop for cheap because it was beat up. that's when I learned of the incredible lifetime warranty that snapon has for their boxes and wear and tear parts. I added a 1953 topper to my 1973 original one, and when it came time to add to the fleet I inherited this 1995 Master series and I decided that I was going to paint it to match. would have probably been cheaper to buy a affordable harbor freight toolbox but I really like restoring old things and repurposing and giving new life.
