Complete coverage of Event 8 from the Men's and Women’s Individual competitions at the 2022 Rogue Invitational in Round Rock, TX. Held on Sunday, October 30, “Snatch and Press” featured 3 rounds of the following:
20 DB Snatch (100 LB men / 70LB women)
9 Parallette Handstand PushUps (4”/2” deficit)

This event proved to be a shakeup for the leaderboard at the beginning of the competition's final day, as Laura Horvath's ongoing struggles with the PHSPU portion of the event opened the door for other women to gain ground, including contenders Annie Thorisdottir and Emma Lawson, as well as dark horses Emma McQuaid and Dani Speegle. Similarly on the men's side, Justin Medeiros's slight struggles in this one shifted the spotlight to athletes like Jayson Hopper and Chandlers Smith, the latter of whom followed his big win in Event 7 with another strong showing here.
