When we moved to Alaska, we traded lawn mowing for snowblowing. What used to be a onceaweek job in the summer is now a weekly winter task and we wouldn’t have it any other way. After a recent snowstorm left us with a foot (30 cm) of fresh snow, we spent the day digging out. It's a good thing we'd just put the plow on a few days before!
