In this video we show you how to install a spoiler on your 3rd generation Toyota 4Runner from Snowbound Customs. This spoiler is unique because it gives you the ability to integrate chase lights into the housing. This Snowbound Customs replacement spoiler is the ultimate chase light upgrade for 3rd Gen 4Runners. These are 100% manufactured and welded right here in the USA with locally sourced high quality materials. Each one is meticulously TIG welded by hand to make these a work of art. The light mounting holes are all threaded so you won't need to add a nut to the back of the screws and the spoiler mounting holes are countersunk to make the factory screws sit flush with your new spoiler.

Chase lights are mounted with safety in mind. Dust being kicked up on dirt roads will prevent your friends from being able to see you. Chase lights are much brighter than brake lights and allow people following you on dirt or foggy roads to easily follow your path and gauge distance. Plus, it makes for a great camping or reverse light.

Here is the FSM for Toyota's instructions on how to install a rear spoiler if your truck didn't come standard with one already installed:

There are many things that make this the perfect chase light.

1. No Light Blockage. Many people mount chase lights to the back of their roof rack but the factory spoiler blocks any light from reaching the ground behind the vehicle so you won't be able to use it as a camp light. By integrating it into the spoiler, you don't have that issue!

2. Separation Between Lights. It is important to have separation between lights so people following you can gauge distance easily and see where you are in relation to the road. That's why cars have two headlights on each side instead of one in the middle!

3. Clean Design. Beyond functionality, this chase light spoiler was designed to look good too. The flush mount lights and excellent welds will be sure to grab people attention. Long gone are the days of mounting chase lights in awkward spots!

4. Threaded Holes. We wanted to make your install easy. All holes are threaded to make install a breeze. You won't need to fiddle with trying to get the nut onto the screw! The spoiler mounting holes are also countersunk so the factory screws sit flush.

Lighting Options

This spoiler is plug n' play with Baja Designs S2 Flush Mount lights. Choose from Sport or Pro models. Sport models are 12.4W while Pro models are 23.4W.
