Soft pastels are wonderful and addictive. Once you are hooked, you always want more. But when you are just starting out, buying a whole heap of soft pastels can break the bank! Little by little works much better. Buying a small set can get you on your way. In this case I am using Schminke, wonderfully soft pastels. You can also find sets made by other manufacturers of soft pastels such as Great American, Sennelier and Unison.
