Solder Reflow with Preheater (PART 3) - Reflow Controller

PART 3 (final) of my Solder Reflow using a cheap Preheater (Experiment)

Following on from my earlier videos (Parts 1 & 2), I now rebuild my UYue 9461010 Preheating Station, adding a Reflow Controller.

The earlier parts of this journey can be found here:

PART 1 Intro / First Reflow
   • Solder Reflow using a cheap Preheater...

PART 2 Preheater Teardown
   • Solder Reflow with Preheater (PART 2)...

Many hobbyists use converted ovens for SMD Reflow, but I've always wanted a hotplate style Reflower.

If you have limited space, the size of an oven can be an issue. But I think there's other advantages too!

Being on a tight budget, I thought I'd experiment with a relatively cheap Preheater from AliExpress.

Join me for Part 3, as I rebuild the Preheater and finish the project with a new Reflow Controller.

Although I now have a Reflow Oven, I still make use of my Preheater solution for prototyping / component recovery / SMD rework.

If you find this video of interest, please give me a thumbsup, and subscribe for future videos. Thanks.

Model used:
UYue 9461010 Preheating Station (100x100mm platform)

Other models mentioned (in the earlier videos):
UYue 9461515 Preheating Station (150x150mm platform)
946C Preheating Station (200x200mm platform)

I apologise for the delay in publishing PART 3 of this experiment. The videos were shot during late 2019 and "life" unfortunately got in the way of editing the videos for upload. But I did video an updated (and better), usage demonstration to add onto the end. :)
