Solo Backpacking Archers Fork | Wayne National Forest Ohio | Caves and Natural Rock Bridge!

Follow
Bacon N Backpacking

Another solo backpacking adventure! This trip was to Archer's Fork in the Wayne National Forest Marietta District in my home state of Ohio. This video features some awesome sights including caves, a natural rock bridge, beautiful rock formations and much more!

It was a fairly chilly trip, which is to be expected for a backpacking adventure in February in Ohio. High was only about 36 degrees with the low dropping under 20 degrees. Trail conditions overall weren't too bad. I dealt with some mud, minor water crossings and one major water crossing which actually made the trip more memorable!

In this video I go over some backpacking basics, including how to properly set up your hammock for the perfect nights sleep and how to build a fire in the backcountry! The aim of my videos is mainly to share my experiences in order to help others with their outdoor adventures! If you have any questions about gear that I use or how to get into backpacking please feel free to comment!
