Join me as I traverse the Bloodroot Trail! I ventured to the Bloodroot Trail near Andrews, IN, hiking 6.5 miles to backpacking site #5 for the night. I enjoyed abundant wildlife and absolutely beautiful weather! The lake was amazing and couldn't have asked for a better trip! After spending the night, hiked about 5 miles back to the trailhead. Along the way, I stumbled upon a couple of young coyotes! They were super cute, but I kept my distance to not disturb them! Highly recommend this trail!
