Welcome to the Australian Alps Walking Track an incredible thru hiking trail running through the ACT, NSW and Victoria. The trail is approximately 650700km long depending on route, detours and side trips.

In this video I invite you to join me for my south bound (SOBO) hike a self supported month long adventure.

This hike was filmed and undertaken during Feb /March 2024 and completed SOBO to get through Kosciusko before its major aerial shooting closures this year. Please make sure you check for any current closures before heading out!

I greatly appreciate the effort and ongoing care and maintenance of this trail making it possible for walkers to enjoy as well as the support of the track angel community.
