The world is experiencing a plastic pollution crisis yet the fate of most discarded plastic products and packaging is unknown.  Plastic waste has inherent and unrealized value as a raw material yet only a small percentage of it gets recycled even after being placed in the recycle bin.  We’ll share how the Esri platform powers the world’s first tracking and accounting system for plastic waste and its conversion into a valued resource using ArcGIS and Survey123 and describe the advantages of custom database views to provide focused datasets for use in maps, apps and clientfacing dashboards.
