Your Science Tutor

This video explains how we solve a system containing three equations and three variables. The unknowns are x, y, and z and their solution represent a point of intersection on a three dimensional plane. Though there are multiple techniques used to solve a system of equations, substitution and elimination are the "entry" level and both are used at some point in this tutorial.

A future video will show how we would use the GaussJordan and Gaussian elimination methods.

This video is presented by Your Science Tutor. We provide videos in math, chemistry, and physics.
