3D printing with TPU filament that need supports can be difficult to clean up because the supports are hard to break away from the main print. And it leave a messy surface finish. But you can create complex TPU parts by printing smaller components and solvent welding them together. You can use Tetrahydrofuran THF to successfully solvent weld TPU and make a very strong bond.

And you can also use Tetrahydrofuran to create a smooth finish on your prints and remove layer lines.
