When one of the cups appears to the outside we take it strongly with the bench vice and hitting with the hammer we take it out of its housing, the same operation we will do with the cup of the other end.

We will check the state of the different components in case they are worn out. If the eyes of the flange are worn or deformed, we will have to change this part of the shaft, (or the whole shaft) if both parts are affected.

In most cases, the solution is a new set that consists of Rotating support, new oil seals, needle bearings and four new safety rings.
After greasing the needle cups, we will place them correctly in their housing and fit them in place without tightening. Then, using the vise as a press, we will insert them a third. With two old cups we will tighten again with the bench vice, until the new ones have penetrated to their place. Then we will introduce the security rings, making sure that they enter correctly into their slots.
