For years I've been curious about trying G scale model trains however they tend to be somewhat rare, at least where I am. Recently one of the largest boxes I've ever seen showed up at my PO box and today I decided to open it.

What I wasn't expecting to see was an entire LGB G scale train set. After opening the box and setting it up I had some trouble getting the locomotive to start, unbeknownst to me there was a small switch in the locomotives cab which prevented it from running.

It took me a while to figure this out but afterwards I enjoyed running the train and checking out all sorts of details I haven't seen on a model train until now.
