Sonic Riders DX is a mod of the original Sonic Riders which seeks to add new content and breathe new life into an already great game. This a beta of version 2 and this video covers some of its changes. Those include:

Another addition is that every character can use every gear. This was tested with:

40:23 Jet and Blue Star (Sonic's Gear)

Since every character can use every gear, these very talented and very dedicated people went through the trouble of making bike versions of gears for Eggman and board versions of gears for those that can't use bikes. That was tested with:

50:11 Whackbot and Darkness

One more thing. Drifts now have different levels, with a level two resulting in an orange trail and a level three resulting in a pink trail.
