There 8 main stages for Sonic in his normal form, that take place across the shattered continents. This video is just a neat package with all of them together.

Apotos (Windmill Isle): 0:00
Mazuri (Savannah Citadel): 2:34
Holoska (Cool Edge): 5:18
Spagonia (Rooftop Run): 8:52
Chunnan (Dragon Road): 13:36
Shamar (Arid Sands): 17:41
Empire City (Skyscraper Scamper): 20:40
Adabat (Jungle Joyride): 24:31
General S Rank tips:
You need at least a score of 150,000
Don't take any damage
Collect as many rings as you can
Finishing as quickly as you can is priority
Pratise over and over, until you know what's coming the entire time, most of the playthrough was muscle memory
Gain Exp and play when you've leveled up
If the route I take is hard for you, there are so many different routes, that can still allow for an S, you just need to be quick
