This one's a little bit different insofar as we're looking at a machine I've never had the pleasure of working on and is also a little bit out of my comfort zone. This is a Sony HVRM15AE DVCAM Digital HD video recorder and it was a little odd; it had a almost ripped off back tension band and the supply reel is jamming. I now have a fair idea of what's causing the issue but comments from anyone more experienced than me on working on this vintage of machine would be gratefully received.

These aren't the best decks in my humble opinion and look to be quite fragile but it has done 20+ years of service so I guess you really can't complain!
