This week we're looking at a Sony SL8000 Betamax from the late 70's. An amazing piece of kit with great quality build and lots of belts! The mains motor is fun too, especially when it comes to servo control. I will be doing a much more cohesive indepth video on one of these machines soon including using the tools in the Sony case to check and adjust alignment and i might even read the service manual which I really should have at least flicked through before looking at this one.

Hope you enjoyed this one and lots more to come too.
