The Soo Line 2719 is an H23 class 462 Pacific type locomotive. It was built by ALCO in 1923 and used by the Soo Line in passenger service until its retirement in 1959. In 1960 the Soo Line donated the 2719 to the city of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where it was proudly placed on display in Carson Park. Between 1996 and 1998 the 2719 was removed from the park, beautifully restored, and brought back to fully operational condition by the Locomotive & Tower Preservation Fund. Sit back and enjoy the sights and sounds of this steamer once again doing what is was made to do, pulling passenger trains in the classiest of style.

Also enjoy a look at the Soo Line 1003 an L1 class 282 Mikado and the Northern Pacific 328 an S10 class 460 Ten Wheeler.
