Sourdough Sandwich Bread That’s Perfect Everytime😌

I might be biased but this is the BEST method to make a sourdough sandwich loaf with SOFT & DELICIOUS crust consistently!

Here is my baking method :) :

Shape into ovals and place in loaf pans. Proof on the counter for several hours (you want to see it double in size).

Bake at 450f for 10 minutes. Add foil to the top of the loaves (This helps the inside bake without burning the top, alternatively you can use steam in the bottom of your oven).
Bake with the foil for another 12 minutes.
reduce temp to 425f and remove foil. Bake an additional 15 minutes or until the internal temp is 22f.
Immediately out of the oven later the tops of the loaves with butter, which will ensure the crust is soft. Place a tea towel over the loaves and allow them to cool completely.
At this point you should be able to slice the loaves easily.
