If you've followed me for the last few years you know I like going up to the Cottonwood Lakes area to gear check for the season. Since Cottonwood Lakes 14 are closed to fishing until Sept, that leaves some of the surrounding lakes as the goto places. I haven't been up to these lakes in a few years and was pleasantly surprised. Got to use my new Nissin Zerosum 7:3 Tenkara rod as well.
