The vial transport can handle small vials in a double pitch movement and large vials in single pitch. For residual oxygen requirements below 1%, the stoppering station has an optional capability to seal around the shoulder of the vial and create vacuum before nitrogen purging and stoppering. The filling machine has 100% in process weight control and is synchronized with the capper to provide a ‘FirstIn FirstOut’ transfer of vials. The capper controls and monitors the vertical force during the cap crimping process.
