Speckled Petal Canes in Polymer Clay.

Fiona Abel-Smith PolyOriginals

You can have so much fun with these 2 simple canes which not only look good but are really easy to make. I take you through the whole process, step by step, so sit back, relax, and watch as the process unfolds

The Etsy Tutorial to make the full flower necklaces is here – https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/12905...

The clay I used is FIMO Soft, but all wellknown brands of polymer clay will work well for this technique.

I used ½ oz (14g) of Peppermint and White, and 1/8 oz (3.5g) of Brilliant Blue and White, for each cane.
The Pink version used ½ oz (14g) of Raspberry and White, and 1/8 oz (3.5g) of Plum and White.

Equipment.
• A ceramic tile, or something similar, to work on
• A Polymer Clay Blade
• A Clay roller
• A Pasta Machine dedicated to Polymer Clay use – or a pack of playing cards – stack equal numbers of cards on either side of your clay and roll the clay between them to get the thickness you need.
