Speed Queen heavy duty large capacity washer giving LI code (lid error). I searched the internet for a cause/remedy for it and could not find a video how to correct it. The only videos on youtube were ones that want you to go to their website and purchase a how to video or manual. Aint nobody got time for that.
I diagnosed & found the lid lock solenoid had fallen and was unable to lock the lid. After a few easy steps, we were back to doing laundry.
I know i made a few mistakes when speaking while recording oh well. Deal with it. Watch it on mute. You are here for the how to, not for a grammar lesson.
Also, I used an 8mm socket for the front cover bolts because i thought this would be like any other modern machine metric. But its not, it uses standard SAE sizes. Probably 5/16" and not 8mm, but it worked.
Good luck and if you like it, hit the thumbs up button. I'm just a guy who posted a video and have no official channel.
