SpiderMan 2 may take place in the same New York as 2018's Marvel's SpiderMan, but quite a bit has changed since then. Here's a comparison of the city between SpiderMan 2 and the first game.

SpiderMan 2 takes place after both the OG SpiderMan on PS4 and Miles Morales. For this sidebyside, we're using Marvel's SpiderMan Remastered, ehich came to the PS5. This isn't a graphics comparison, just some gameplay to show how the city has changed, but we recorded in 4K Fidelity mode in both games.
