Peter Parker's life is hard: no money, no girlfriend, no respect from the press, a bunch of villains that make his life hell... it's tough. The Avengers are the elite, the cream of the cream of superbeings: Thor, Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Captain America. Just heavyweights.

So what do you imagine would happen if the Avengers went after SpiderMan to shoe him? Peter Parker would get a lot of beatings? Wrong. Not today. Not today! SpiderMan just faced the Avengers in the magazines, and believe me: he got his ass kicked! How was that? Why were the Avengers after him?
