Attractive yarn is every spinner's goal. So what do you do when your fibre just doesn't appeal to you?
I recently purchased the Electric Eel Wheel by Dreaming Robots , and thought I would do a test spin to see how I liked it. I chose a fibre from my stash that I wouldn't be heartbroken to lose (if I messed up): 4 oz of 80/20 Merino Silk dyed by Into the Whirled for their 2013 Fibre Club. I am...not thrilled with the colours. Bright cyan and olive green is NOT my jam.

So I did the only thing you really CAN do when you have ugly fibre...challenge myself to make nice looking yarn with it!

Honesty, I'm sure these colours speak to someone out there just not me. And that's OK. I had a fabulous time trying out my EEW 6, and I look forward to my next spinning adventure!
