At the end of March, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton launched an investigation into Spirit AeroSystems, a key subcontractor for Boeing, following reports of “recurring problems with certain parts.”
The Kansasheadquartered company is responsible for manufacturing fuselages and other crucial structural components for Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner and 737 MAX aircraft, as well as major components for the Airbus A220.
