An immaculate two ship display by a pair of Supermarine Spitfire Mk IXs at Duxfords, Daks over Normandy events last week. The lead example being the "Grace Spitfire" Tr IX ML407 and the trailing example the OMFCs Spitfire Mk IX MH434. A very tight and skilled display complete with the mighty Merlin 63 sound track. These are just two over over 20 airworthy examples in the UK but arguably the two most famous, enjoy! Thumbnail credit goes to my Father (C) Gary Langran 2019.
