Splints (Part 5) - Ulnar Drift Hand Fractures and Burns

Follow
OT Over Easy

Today we are tying up the loose ends of splints, and covering the ones you have asked for that I didn't get to in the rest of the series! We are going to touch on antiulnar drift orthoses, digitip protectors, ulnar gutters and radial gutters, cuffs, and general tips for splinting to prevent burn contractures. As always, we are just looking at entry level concepts no more than what you should know for an entry level OT exam!
