Peripheral Nerve entrapments are are condition that goes under the radar, usually presenting with poorly localised pain either shoulder/upper arm/forearm even hand/wrist , sometimes sensory symptoms like pins and needles, the symptoms can shift around aswell.

In this excerpt i highlight the treatment of distal entrapment sites, the Elbow is cluster site for distal entrapments especially the radial nerve entrapment of the radial nerve at the supinator and the median nerve at pronator teres.

Radial nerve entrapment can mimic lateral elbow pain beautifully and biceps tendon overuse injuries , so keep it in mind when looking at the lateral elbow pain condition.

Always keep palpation and neurodynamic stretching as key assessment tools , from there you can highlight entrapment sites and treat accordingly.
