Here is my weekly Sunday Sporting Clays ShotKam video. This is at the Westford Sportsman's Club, in Westford, MA. The course is different every week, and this was a challenging one. The high score was 37/50 I believe, shared by Peter and Greg.
I am still new at this and am still learning but it is EXTREMELY frustrating that I keep making the same mistakes. I focus on the bird and wait too long. I need to get out to my lead and shoot sooner, I think.
It is a work in progress, and ultimately, I am really doing this to be a better shot for my dog, who gets frustrated and confused when I miss birds that he wants to retrieve.
Any and all comments are welcome, but "lead it more," isn't really helpful. That's what I spent all the money on the shotkam for. It's like a consultant. I spent a lot of money to have it tell me what I already knew.
Seriously, though, it has been very helpful. It shows me things I could only guess at. It is also fun to review the videos.
