Dr. Moumita Barua (Barua) MD: Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto and Nephrologist at Toronto General Hospital, talking about studies that
suggest the frequency of variants in COL4A3 and COL4A4 associated with Alport syndrome phenotypes is much higher than historic prevalence reports.
Vanessa Williams: postdoctoral researcher at the University of Toronto talking about her work in an Alport mouse model where she studied mechanisms underlying fibrosis in chronic kidney disease.
