Squash Bug Remedy:
1/4 cup red pepper (dried, fresh, finely ground does not matter)
1 whole garlic
1 teaspoon dish soap
Put pepper flakes and garlic in food processor or blender and grind fine.
Then add the mixture to a gallon container. Fill with hot water. When nearly to the top add 1 teaspoon of dish soap. Put on lid and shake well. Allow mixture to sit overnight. Shake well next morning and strain thru cheesecloth. Then pour into your sprayer and add mixture. Spray your squash, cucumbers, pumpkins, etc…
Remove any dead plants. Apply again in 5 days (squash bug eggs hatch 510 days) when you see them, spray again.
Spray after each rain.
I use this and it works!
It also does not burn any of my plants.
Nontoxic and works that’s a great combo!
I’d love to hear from you if you try it!
