SACRED GEOMETRY of the SRI YANTRA

The Sri Yantra is an ancient Vedic yantra, a very sacred geometric model of the cosmos. It is regarded by Vedic yogis as a 'thought form' you can meditate and connect with on to gain an intimate connection with the Cosmos, also to balance your spiritual and physical aspects. In this meditation I have also included colours for an extra layer of benefit from your meditative practice.

Sri Yantra also translates and the Gateway to the Heavens, and is a central theme of my Gateway Series books (see below for more details). As a Gateway you enter by one of 4 Directions and work your way through the geometry on concentric rings into the centre.

My meditations always start by balancing your connections to earth and spirit, allowing this blend of energies to surround and protect you while you meditate. They end with a sequence to you bring you back and ground you.

As with any meditation, make sure you are fully grounded afterwards. Drinking water, touching the floor with your hands and feet at the same time, tugging your earlobes, walking in nature, are examples of methods that help to ground you.

This guided visualisation incorporates the meaning and purpose of sacred geometry, colour and other symbolism.
